Hello! I’m Cassie – a twenty something living in the Pacific Northwest in one of the rainiest places around – no umbrellas needed simply put up your hood. I’m a total homebody, library fanatic, tea connoisseur, a wannabe world explorer and probably a bit catty.

Digitalized Existence also known as DE for short is a personal blog all about geekery, natural living, cooking, handmade stuff, and my rather sad obsession with books. I created DE to really be a place for me to talk about my weird habits, 8bit love, and to naturally document the trials and tribulations of my very dear Totoro who also lives with me.

I live in a crazy full townhouse with a housemate and my boyfriend Skitch in Vancouver, WA. Skitch is quiet, nerdy and a lot of fun. His super powers include a truly amazing knowledge of almost everything in the Star Wars universe, to disagree with almost everything all the time and the ability to charm every cat he comes across. We like to go on drives to nowhere, listen to upbeat music and generally just be geeky together.
